I am Vincent Alain, a professional oil painter in Orlando, Florida. I create abstract art with oil paint and Cold Wax Medium (CWM). CWM is a mixture of natural beeswax, alkyd resin, and odorless mineral spirits (OMS). As the OMS evaporates, the natural beeswax hardens to the density of a beeswax candle. Unlike other painting mediums, which increase the flow and gloss of oil colors to varying degrees, Cold Wax Medium makes oil colors thicker and more matte.

No two pieces are alike due to the medium of choice. “The Littles” that I create are in collections of 4 pieces and utilize the same color palette. Each original piece is on Arches Oil Paper, numbered, signed, and in an 8x10 matboard. A certificate of authenticity is included with every original piece.
